Dear Tooth Fairy,
This is Melissa's mom. I am vouching for her two teeth that she lost in two days. Please excuse her for not putting them under her pillow. She fully intended to place them there. You see, she placed them in a ziploc baggie, and left them on the counter by the phone.
I, her mother, was packing the younger boys lunches when I noticed a conveniently placed Ziploc baggie on the counter by the phone. Score! I put one of the sandwiches in that baggie and off the kids went to school...
Apparently David had trouble trading the teeth for a better snack at lunch, and ended up throwing them away in the cafeteria trash can...
Please except this letter as a good excuse and give Melissa money for her missing teeth.
