Termites! :.( Waaaaahhhhhhh.......

of all the major and minor house repairs that have come up this year, broken furnaces, several broken pipes, washing machine, bees, bats, stink bugs,

The Roof, (and all subsequent damage from leaking roof!)

(new, non leaking roof!)


The pool (and various electrical issues and pipes)



of ALL the issues that have come about this year, its amazing to me that this little tunnel (below) represents one of our biggest problems...TERMITES!! you don't want termites in any home, but in a log home, they offer a new level of fear!

luckily for us, we spotted them fast, no damage is visible, and we can put our fears to rest quickly (for a slight fee of course!) but I still want to cry!! I do not like termites!
