Irene damage 120 miles from the eye?

Yes. Not only did she cancel the first day of school, she left our yard in shambles!

Branches like this are EVERYWHERE...

I went out during the storm and watched the trees dancing back and forth..it was so beautiful to see, but then I woke up to this... :(
Also, Debris, EVERYEWHERE...

Our trusty tree house suffered no damage...we are terrific architects!

Here is a BEFORE picture of the front yard...
An after picture of the same trees...two of which are gone... :(

And MORE Debris...yuck...

Yes. yes, she was not nice to us, look what she did to the kitchen.......oh wait, that was just the kids....

The overwhelming amount of work, in addition to getting ready to teach my first day of seminary just felt like to much...I decided to take Percy and go for a run...

not even Percy was cooperating with my plan today....although he did decide to push me on the swing...

Just give it some time, it will all blow away. Well, almost all of it.

Love the dog video - that's great. With as many trees as you have, it could have been worse. At least you didn't have any trees fall on your house. Happy racking.
