what I am happy about today

Here is what I am thankful for today (I took this idea from Petra's Blog)

*I am thankful that I have NO errands to run today, and other than Shawn's chorus concert, I will be home all day! (babysitting, but HOME!)
* I am thankful that my house is 70% clean
*I am thankful that my kids have not been sick this winter
*I am so thankful that even though the economy is affecting us, I feel completely at peace and feel like everything is going to be ok
*I am thankful that the right man is running our country and feel confidant that he has the approach that we need in these tough times
* I am thankful to be an American
*I am thankful that my husband suprised me with the best date ever on friday night
*I am thankful that the last time I played scrabble with Dale ,I got a 102 point word! (and won the 15 minute massage!)
*I am thankful that I get to have a lunch date with the love of my life every wednesday, right after I play basketball with my buddies, Wednesdays are my favorite day!
*I am so thankful that I have started exercising again and feel much better
*I am so thankful for the joy I feel from watching my kids pursue their interests
*I am so thankful for funny material my kids provide to keep me laughing everyday
*I am thankful that we have a half day on friday and no school on monday I love long weekends, especially because we turned in the science fair project and the book report that was due! (Although, Alex still has to read the book that he did the report on!)
*I am thankful for being able to watch movies with a fire going while sipping a cup of hot chocolate or herbal tea with honey...this is the first time in my life that I can say I am thankful for winter, and I can find happiness in winter even without snowboarding!
*I am thankful that I can enjoy life even when it's not perfect!
*I am thankful for my Savior's example and sacrifice, and my Heavenly Father's love and mercy

I am thankful for "Mr Bob Bob", who has moved into our house to help the kids keep their rooms clean. He goes around before bedtime and "eats" anything that is left on the floor...he had a large meal one night, but most of the time he is left starving, he gets credit for my house being 70% clean

I am thankful for the many laughs my kids give me each day, Greg fell asleep in my bed one night, I photgraphed him exactly as I saw him, I call this "Boys will be boys"

I am thankful that the big projects are done, Alex in the costume for his report on George Washington , I am glad he has a long weekend to be able to actually read the book he did the report on

I am thankful for each and every moment I have with my life's greatest love. Dale suprised me with a date on friday night. He sent me to my office to get ready, (he had picked out my outfit and he prepared dinner with dancing afterward...he set up the table in our bedroom(the table from the deck) and cooked dinner (shrimp and lobster linguini, salad, and crepes for dessert) It was very delicious! We ate, talked, and danced, ..no lines, no babysitter, no bill, no self conciousness about our dancing, he wins the award for BEST DATE EVER! I am so thankful for Dale!

Yay! I love your list. And, what a date! I love Mr. Bob Bob, I might have to snatch the idea, although I don't know how much is treasured. You'd better not let Greg see that picture when he gets older. He won't be very happy that you put it on the web!

Love your list (except for #5) and I'm glad that you and Dale have so much time together.

Love the picture of Greg! Boys will be boys and unfortunately for them we have the photos to prove it!
