Last Wednesday Dale and I went to Brookside Garden's for a picnic lunch and to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, which were at their peak. (no camera, so no pictures :(
Saturday the sun showed it's afternoon face and I went outside to enjoy the beautiful colors (I brought my camera with me this time:)
Today we drove out to Harper's Ferry, West Virginia to enjoy the fall colors. They were truely beautiful! (Again I forgot my camera, so so sorry:(
I have to admit, I am the biggest whiner when summer is over! and Every year about this time, when summer is a distant memory, and my routine is in full swing, and the beautiful fall colors are here, I feel calm and peaceful and can't remember ever being anxious about saying bye to summer!
Below are some of the shots I took around the house....

Oh I am so jealous! What a breathtaking view you have around your house... I miss those big trees so much! Thanks for sharing :)
Looks beautiful
Beautiful colors around your home! I love Shenandoah National Park too! I think I've been there like 5 times in the past year. Brookside Garden's looks very beautiful too. I'll have to check it out.
Great photos! You have such a great yard.
I LOVE the fall in Maryland. We haven't had enough sun to really enjoy it but the trees are even beautiful in cloudy weather or rain.
BEAUTIFUL pictures!! I miss the eastern autumns so much! There are very few places around here where I can go to enjoy the fall colors and the wind blows so much that the colored leaves last an even shorter amount of time. Thanks for sharing!
