gingerbread houses

December is full of so many fun traditions, one of which is making gingerbread houses...infortunately, this year we will not be able to join my family in our annual gingerbread making day, but some of the kids will be making them in school. Yesterday I went in to help David make his in school. They have been reading many gingerbread stories, and David has been talking non stop about gingerbread cookies! (he even asked santa for some)

oh cute denise! The winter sun is low in the sky, and on clear days, in the morning hours, it can make driving nearly impossible..so yes, those are sunglasses, and they do actually serve two purposes, one for driving, and two for keeping my hair out of my face while I am not driving...

Oh my heavens I do NOT miss helping out on gingerbread house day. Most of the houses had collapsed before they even got on the bus! Not to mention all the kids were completely wired from eating all the candy instead of decorating the house. Eeek.

Aw Tammy... you look so cute :)

Eli came home today from making his gingerbread house at school (or should I say graham cracker house) with frosting streaks all over his clothes. It was adorable.
